A caravan of federal officers crashed into a man's car on a residential street and then began questioning him about his immigration status, causing a crowd of neighbors to gather. Federal officers, surrounded by people yelling at them to leave, soon deployed multiple forms of chemical munitions, clouding the intersection of Park Avenue and 35th Street in heavy smoke. Federal officers hanging out of open SUV doors threw tear gas canisters from their moving vehicles as they fled. Bystanders were left coughing and unable to see. Twin Cities residents are experiencing what is essentially an occupation by thousands of masked federal officers who are violently detaining immigrants and citizens alike.
